Abstract. The new apparatus of shock and inertial action, which allows to intensify gas clearing process taking into account characteristics of absorbed components, was developed.
The authors suggest the model of estimating the dust clearing efficiency, considering the characteristics of absorbed dust (the density and size of particles), and also the operating conditions, the basic one of which is gas speed at passage through the blades of impellers.
The calculations on the developed model allow building the critical particle paths, precipitated on liquid surface. The conclusions are relevant to studying the intense action of wet dust collectors, which is the main mechanism of particles allocation.
Key words: paths of particles, impeller's blades, dust collection efficiency, rotoklon, inertial deposition.
